Professional background

From around 1994 to 2014 I ran my own cleaning and textile-care businesses in Athens and Crete, Greece — roughly twenty years as a self-employed business owner.

That work meant carrying practical responsibility for:

  • Day-to-day operations
  • Customer requirements
  • Scheduling
  • Service delivery
  • Quality control
  • Overall business responsibility

My later and ongoing professional experience includes service and healthcare-related operational environments in Düsseldorf, Germany.

What I build today

I am the founder and builder of three separate projects:

FlyDropGlobal

Started from a simple question: how can journeys that are already taking place, and the luggage capacity on them that would otherwise go unused, be put to better use — instead of automatically relying on an additional dedicated transport process?

How I approach technology

My broader interest is process digitalisation: making repetitive, fragmented or compliance-heavy workflows clearer, more structured and easier to manage.

Simplify real processes

Technology should start from how work is actually done, and remove friction from it — not add a new layer of complexity.

Improve structure and transparency

Repetitive, fragmented or compliance-heavy workflows become easier to manage when information is clear, organised and traceable.

Keep people responsible

Digital tools support decisions. Human judgement and responsibility stay central.

A note on resource efficiency

Resource efficiency was part of the original thinking behind FlyDropGlobal: making better use of journeys and luggage capacity that already exist, rather than automatically adding another dedicated transport process. It is a design principle, not a quantified environmental claim.
